Deja Viewers

The Déjà-Viewer is a speculative wearable that imagines a future where time foresight is used not for grand, world-changing events, but for small, human moments. Using fictional predictive algorithms, it “previews” the most likely upcoming possibilities in your immediate future — helping you avoid mundane frustrations like forgetting your keys, misspeaking in a conversation, or being late to a meeting. Unlike conventional sci-fi depictions of time travel, this concept explores how hyper-personalised technology could integrate seamlessly and unobtrusively into daily life. Compact and nose-mounted, the Déjà-Viewer projects subtle visual cues directly onto the user’s retina, invisible to others. This project was developed through a speculative design process, intended to question how emerging technologies might reshape our social interactions and habits, rather than serving as a realistic product proposal.
