Eco-Spritz

EcoSpritz is a sustainable, refillable olive oil spray system designed to replace wasteful aerosol cans. It uses a clever double-bag design where an outer HDPE bag provides manual compression, evenly pressurizing a soft inner PP bag that holds the oil. This allows users to create a fine mist without the need for harmful propellants. The design focuses on ergonomics, sustainability, and ease of use with a reusable handle and nozzle that accept simple snap-in replacement pouches. Made entirely from recyclable mono-materials, EcoSpritz is easy to disassemble and sort, reducing unnecessary waste and complexity. By eliminating aerosols, optimizing material efficiency, and minimizing litter, EcoSpritz aligns with sustainable packaging principles while giving users a more intentional and tactile way to use and refill their olive oil spray. This design was entered into the 2025 Australian Good Design Awards.
