FeatherBoil

FeatherBoil is a refined and user-centric electric kettle designed to make everyday boiling effortless. This project focused on reducing the physical strain associated with traditional kettles by minimizing weight and optimizing ergonomics—without compromising performance. Through a process of user research, ideation, and hands-on prototyping, FeatherBoil was developed with the needs of elderly users, individuals with limited grip strength, and design-conscious households in mind. The final design features a lightweight body, intuitive handle geometry, and subtle visual cues to enhance usability and comfort. This project demonstrates my skills in human-centred design, CAD modelling, sketch development, and iterative prototyping, culminating in a clean, practical, and aesthetically balanced product solution.
