This project reimagines the iconic 1980s turbofan aesthetic, addressing the lack of accessible, high-quality options in the aftermarket scene. Through research, material exploration, and multiple prototypes, the design evolved into a modular composite system that balances affordability, durability, and ease of installation. Key outcomes include a dual lug nut mounting solution for universal fitment, a repairable and modular design, and a vision for an online platform enabling users to customize and order their own unique rim covers with guaranteed compatibility.
